The Acorns prepare for our first ever FA Trophy Third Qualifying round tie as we welcome local outfit, Gloucester City, to the 4ED Hartpury Stadium on Saturday.
The Tigers make the very short, five mile trip to the 4ED for the first ever meeting between the two sides, with a spot in the First Round Proper at stake.

WHAT’S HAPPENED SO FAR?
The Tigers have had a flying start to their campaign, sitting second in the Southern League Premier South, just two points off leaders Walton & Hersham.
Dafydd Williams side have suffered just two defeats in 12 games so far this season and are currently on a six-game unbeaten run in the league.
Elsewhere in cup competitions, the Tigers reached the Second Qualifying round of the FA Cup, bowing out to National League South side, Chippenham Town.
IN THE DUGOUT – DAFYDD WILLIAMS
Williams took charge of the Tigers back in May ahead of the new campaign following a stint as assistant manager at League Two side, Newport County.
This became Williams’ second spell at the club following his time in Gloucestershire during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 season as assistant manager to Lee Mansell.
Since taking over as manager, Williams has overseen seven wins, three draws and two defeats.
PLAYER TO WATCH – JOE HANKS
Joe Hanks has been one of the Tigers longest serving players having recently reached 300 appearances for the side.
He’s also been one of the most influential players in recent games, finding the net four times in his last five games for the Tigers.
The 30-year-old has had a lavished career in around Gloucestershire having come through Cheltenham Town before going onto feature for Bishops Cleeve, Chippenham Town and Gloucester City.
