Qualifying period: 1st September 2026 – 30th April 2027

• Qualification is awarded to the top 3 horse/rider combinations in each class achieving 65% or above.

• Horse eligibility restrictions (based on BD points at the time of qualification):

  • Introductory: Not to have more than 20 BD points at Prelim or above.

  • Preliminary: Not to have more than 20 BD points at Novice or above.

  • Novice: Not to have more than 20 BD points at Elementary or above.

• Combinations may compete in a maximum of two Championship classes if qualified in more than one section.

• 2026 Championship winners are not eligible to compete in the same or a lower-level Championship class in 2027.

Entries close Thursday 13th May 2027.

• Restrictions:

  • Full BS members are not eligible for Class 1.

  • Horses with more than 125 BS points are not eligible for Classes 2 or 3.

  • Ponies with more than 300 BS points are not eligible for Classes 2 or 3.

  • BS members in the Gold League are not eligible for any class.

• Combinations may compete in a maximum of two Championship classes if qualified in more than one height section.

• 2026 Championship winners are not eligible to compete in the same or a lower height Championship class in 2027.
